The Population screen enables you to quickly and easily reach out to groups of travelers visiting specific cities or countries. Messages will appear for Emburse Go users in the app's Message Center. You may also choose to send a push notification to travelers who have them enabled.

In order to receive messages, travelers must

  1. Have the Emburse Go app downloaded on a device.
  2. Have an active travel booking (PNR) for the city or country associated with the message.


Message a Population

Step 1: In the search bar, begin typing the name of the country or city whose population you want to message. To select multiple locations, check the box to the left of each name. Then click the message button.



Step 2: Enter the title and body of your message in the fields on the Message Content pane. 

Step 3: If desired, use the Deeplink dropdown to select a URL to add to the message.

Step 4: Use the Push Notification toggle to also send the message as a push notification to travelers who have them enabled on their devices.

Step 5: Click Next.



Step 6: Check the preview of the message content and, if selected, the push notification content. You will also see an overview of the locations you selected and the current number of travelers in each one.

Step 7: To edit the message, click Redo. To send it, click Send.
